The location of the cottage is excellent, with good access to the surrounding area and well-maintained roads. the beds were comfortable and the pillows provided were of good quality. the house was clean and well-presented, with a homely yet modern feel. the host, Val, was friendly and attentive, providing helpful information and being proactive in ensuring guests' needs were met.

The cottage did not have a shower as advertised, which was misleading and inconvenient.

The nearest airport being just 88 km away made it easy for me to catch my early morning flight without any hassle. the cottage itself was cozy and had a rustic charm that added to the overall experience.

While my stay at Springburn Cottage was overall pleasant, there were a couple of minor issues that I encountered. the description of the cottage mentioned a shower, but upon arrival, I realized that there was only a shower hose attached to the bath.
