The location of the cottage is excellent, with good access to the surrounding area and well-maintained roads. the beds were comfortable and the pillows provided were of good quality. the house was clean and well-presented, with a homely yet modern feel. the host, Val, was friendly and attentive, providing helpful information and being proactive in ensuring guests' needs were met.
The cottage did not have a shower as advertised, which was misleading and inconvenient.

I had a fantastic stay at a peaceful and relaxing cottage. The location was perfect, with beautiful Lochs just a minute's walk away. The cottage itself was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I could imagine, including local guides, maps. The host was incredibly helpful and experienced, making my stay even more enjoyable. And the unexpected welcome treats of chocolates, fruits, and wine were a lovely touch. I would fully recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children. I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks so much!

I recently stayed at Springburn Cottage during a transit in my travels, and I must say that the location was incredibly convenient. The nearest airport being just 88 km away made it easy for me to catch my early morning flight without any hassle. the cottage itself was cozy and had a rustic charm that added to the overall experience.
While my stay at Springburn Cottage was overall pleasant, there were a couple of minor issues that I encountered. the description of the cottage mentioned a shower, but upon arrival, I realized that there was only a shower hose attached to the bath.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of Springburn Cottage. The wooden floors and inviting fireplace created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the cottage were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with everything on one level and no stairs to climb. It made me feel comfortable and at home during my stay.
I would have enjoyed my vacation even more if there was a handrail or grab bar in the bathroom. It would have provided extra support and safety for senior guests like myself.

The cottage had a lovely country charm that made me feel right at home. The living room with its inviting fireplace and wooden floors was a cozy and comforting space. It was decorated beautifully, with a touch of elegance and warmth. The cottage's location near Loch Fyne's beach was perfect for peaceful walks and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Plus, the fact that the cottage had its own sitting-out area with outdoor furniture made it accessible and enjoyable for senior people like myself.
It would have been nice if there were more videos available to watch during my stay. Perhaps the children working there could ensure that the cottage is equipped with a video player and some family films.
